Distributed Identity Coordination of Loosely Coupled Systems Leverages Current Identity Source Systems, Lifecycle, Policy, Workflow & Access Control - PresenceID is designed for today’s distributed environments of networked applications, services, users and files. It leverages existing identity solutions, business processes, identity lifecycle management and workflow. PresenceID operates on the premise that each system uniquely understands its own identity provisioning and configuration needs that have already been optimized. And in the event a system does not have formal identity provisioning PresenceID can also provide it. Identity attributes are most often very well managed by the systems that create and use them. PresenceID manages the myriad of relationships between identity attributes of distributed systems while allowing the individual business process systems to locally manage identities within their respective domains. Existing solutions require no modifications so continue to work as they do today but with improved identity accuracy and dynamic identity synchronization across and between enterprises.
Easily & Rapidly Integrate All Identity Across & Outside the Enterprise Via Open Standards & Native APIs While Reducing Complexity - PresenceID uniquely integrates and loosely couples existing enterprise identity, application and service solutions through open and native APIs. PresenceID Spoke Manager connectors handle all the identity synchronization logic and messaging for each system. They support multiple concurrent versions of popular open and proprietary standards deployed across the same enterprise to provide interoperability with and among all. There is no requirement to update solutions to the newest versions. Critical custom and home grown applications are easily integrated using easily customized developed spoke managers. PresenceID simplifies and reduces complexity to lower costs. Integration costs are reduced from hundreds of thousands for each system that break each time there is a change to a plug-and-play or one time integration taking a week or two. It facilitates identity integration supporting ITIL, compliance and other operational framework processes. Integration with policy compliance systems is simply a SQL query to the PresenceID Identity Event Logs RDO data store. PresenceID immediately delivers a big reduction in complexity, costs and risk.
Unified Identity Presence - PresenceID aggregates identity from all systems and organizes it as a unified identity service. With PresenceID all network, mainframe, client-server, open-source, virtualization, SOA mashup, SaaS and cloud computing solutions operate within a common identity framework. Unified Identity Presence is a new organizing framework and best practice that delivers "Identity-as-a-Service" in a SOA to effectively create an "identity router." The unique advantage of PresenceID is that it is organized around identity, not individual server or network solutions. Patent-pending relational PresenceID Reference Data Object (RDO) technology aggregates, synchronizes and virtualizes a superset of all user and content (files, applications and services) attributes (characteristics, roles, relationships and entitlements) distributed across heterogeneous systems for each specific identity.
