Solutions - Secure Content Access
Provide users with rights-based on-demand services delivery and Personal Virtual Directories to easily access resources while increasing enterprise and endpoint access control and data loss prevention security- Problem - Increasing productivity means getting the right applications, content and services to each user when they need it. However it can not come at the cost of security and compliance requirements. Traditional IdM were designed for a client-server IT environment so assume a perimeter framework for security and resource access. Unfortunately this does little to stop data leakage and enforce compliance policies because employees are already inside. The complexity and cost to closely integrate effective CM is prohibitive. What’s more, half the time many employees don’t even know what content and services they have access to so both security and productivity are compromised.
- Solution - PresenceID patent pending relational PresenceID Reference Data Object (RDO) technology aggregates, synchronizes and virtualizes a superset of all user and content (files, applications and services) attributes (characteristics, roles, relationships and entitlements) distributed across heterogeneous systems for each specific identity. In addition, PresenceID Personal Virtual Directories (PVD) provide a comprehensive, dynamic and user-friendly tree listing all applications, files and services each user is authorized for, and simply clicks on to access. PVD are easily accessed via a bookmark in the user’s Web browser and greatly increase both enterprise and endpoint access control security and compliance because users only access provisioned content and services; not entire directories to explore and access unauthorized resources. Access policy can even be written into PresenceID Spoke Managers.
